Take any sized box, wrap it in duct tape and you have a sturdy, washable block for your block area. The thicker corrugated boxes are better to use, but you can use thinner ones and stuff something inside them (like newspaper) to keep them from caving in as easily. ReplyDeleteI just wrote up an activity for a new book I'm working on a week or so ago using colored duct tape on old paperback books, phone books, or text books to make blocks.
That is awesome, would have never thought about that...I am always trying to find ways to recycle those types of things.
